Efficient and pleasant workmen

We are delighted with our transformed garden. The team were brilliant, always paying great attention to detail and giving us good advice on how to get the best from our north facing plot. We are now using our lovely new garden space every time the sun comes out. We would thoroughly recommend Spruce.

I recently had my garden refurbished and was very pleased with both the process and the end result. Craig came out to survey the garden, listened to what I was looking for, made some helpful suggestions, and provided a quote that represented good value compared with the other quotations I received. The work was carried out as planned, with the on-site team led by Scott. Throughout the project, the team were conscientious, hard-working and respectful of my property. They kept the site tidy and were clearly committed to doing a good job. Willie, the supervisor, visited several times while the work was underway to check on progress and quality. He identified a few snagging items himself and ensured they were completed promptly, which was reassuring and showed a commitment to getting everything finished to a good standard. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the work and the way the project was managed from start to finish. I would be happy to recommend Craig and the team to anyone considering a garden refurbishment.

Nathan and Alex M did a wonderful job on my garden this week, they worked really hard all day and transformed a messy garden to a lovely well ordered space. The guys listened to what I wanted done and gave useful advice on what changes could be made to improve the layout, they were friendly and polite and made everything seem like no trouble at all. I can now plan the changes I want to make in certain areas of the garden and have them back to complete the final steps of the garden transformation. From my initial contact, a phone call to the office, to Craig's visit to see what needed done, to the completion of the job has been absolutely seamless and I would recommend the staff and the Company as a whole to anyone who wants a good job well done.

Spruce Garden Services (Puzzled Monkey) came highly recommended through a family friend. Delighted to confirm we are really happy with the work and feel they are competitively priced. We've had a small patio area paved and a pergola built. Very professional, came round to quote and within days had a timescale confirmed. Work was carried out quickly and professionally, guys were super friendly and knowledgeable and took care not to make a mess while they worked. Really happy with the quality of the work and general service from the company overall. We had had other quotes and so glad we didnt go with them. Thank you team!

To take down Ivy from the wall of a 2 storey house. Initially cut a belt about 3 feet from ground level to allow it to die off. Came back on exact day as schedules to take it down. Came back as scheduled to tidy up remaining ivy and tendrils. Good work from the two gardeners involved.

We had a garden tidy up done yesterday by Nathan and Sean, and wanted to say how extremely pleased we were with the work done. They worked steadily, tackling some challenging overgrown garden plants, shrubs, grass and weeds. They completely transformed our garden! It was as if a magic wand had been waved! They were friendly, and very tidy, removing every scrap of waste when they left. A bonus for us was that they fixed our garden hose, which we had been unable to get working without leaking! Thank you Nathan and Sean….and we will certainly use Spruce Garden Services if we need any garden work done in the future.

Gardeners, Nathan and Gregor, recently cut and tidied the leylandii trees in our back garden. They were friendly, polite and very hard working. They did a great job and the area now looks so much better. All rubbish was cleared away. Thanks so much

Absolutely fabulous. Craig came around to discuss our requirements, soon afterwards Willie, Scott and Neil were around installing our lovely new porcelain patio. They also did a few other bits and bobs, nothing was too much trouble. It was a joy having them here for a week, great service, quality workmanship – looking forward to getting them back to do more work. Thanks guys.

I’ve just had a completely positive experience with this company. The person who estimated the job turned up on time and was polite and friendly: the team of initially three then two who came to do the job could not have been more cheerful, helpful and efficient. And all for what seemed a very fair price.

I am delighted with the extension of my aviary. The boys worked diligently thought the wind and rain and finished the job in a timely manner. They listened to any concerns I raised and were happy to adjust things if needed. The boss checked the progress every evening. I’m really happy with the end result. A very professional and hard working company.

The team at Spruce Gardens/Puzzle Monkey did an excellent job. They came out for multiple site visits to confirm the work and ensure that we were happy with materials and what work was to be done. Very professional, came out and did the job on time. Willie knows what he is doing and I think the wall they build will outlast the rest of the house. Definitely recommend them for your hard landscaping needs.

We had a garden tidy up done by Spruce. The guys were great. They carried out all the work required neatly, tidily and were happy to do extra tasks on the day that we needed done. They left the garden and the surrounding hard landscaping so much nicer than it had been. A great job!
